Tips on how to treat dry hair. Tame it!
Don't overdo the shampoo.
Be kind to your hair. Dry hair is the most fragile hair and is subject to breakage, as such, it must be handled with care. Shampoo your hair very gently. Don't pull the hair or put any tension on the hair shafts.
Use gentle shampoo.
Pour on the conditioner.
Pour the hot oil. Hot oil treatments are excellent for restoring dry hairs.
Shelter on the mayo. Mayonnaise is also excellent moisturizing treatment for dry hair. Use old-fashioned mayonnaise and not diet or low-cholesterol types. First, shampoo your hair, then apply about a tablespoon of mayonnaise. Wrap the hair in a plastic bag for 20-30 minutes. Then shampoo and rise thoroughly.
Nix the 100 strokes - too much brushing can actually fracture the hair and causing hair fall. Boar-bristle brushes or vent brushes is recommended as they won't pull hair excessively.
Massage your scalp. Use the tips your fingers to gently massage all over your scalp.
